Welcome Javier Paula!

Please join us in welcoming the newest member of the Franklin Energy Team, Javier Paula! Javier earned her Mechanical Engineering degree from Virginia Tech. After graduation, she supported US military efforts in Iraq as a civilian with CACI Inc out of the DC Area. From there, she went on to support other efforts including background investigations in the Midwest and Central states. Javier moved back to Delaware in 2006 so her two children could grow up closer to the family. She spent the next four years working for RC Fabricators, designing structural steel for commercial buildings throughout the Tri-state area. From there she went on to pursue roles within Wilmington Trust’s Customer Service and U.S. Charitable Gift Trust® departments. Javier recognized her passion for giving back and making a difference in the lives of others, volunteering in her community with organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, Milford Housing Development Corporation, Good Neighbors Home Repair, and DNREC. As a member of the Simonds Gardens Civic Association, Javier stumbled upon the Franklin Team during an opportunity to vet Energize Delaware’s HPwES Program for her community.

Participating in HPwES herself, she was able to share her experience with friends and neighbors. Javier’s project was selected to represent the ONE-MILLIONTH HOME upgraded through Home Performance with ENERGY STAR®! Intrigued by her knowledge and passion, the Franklin Team offered Javier the opportunity to join the team. Accepting an Energy Engineer role with Franklin, Javier looks forward to impacting the lives of as many Delawareans as she can by way of supporting our HPwES efforts!
