On February 26, the HEC2 program team was proud to support Brandywine Springs School in their energy efficiency efforts by hosting an educational session with twenty-two of their TAG (Talented and Gifted program) students. During the gathering, the children learned about energy conservation and lighting, then played an exciting game of Energy Bingo with prizes. The workshop concluded with each student receiving a take-home bag that included an energy activity book for the students and program brochures for their parents. The children were excited to tell others what they learned.
Brandywine Springs School is a participant of the Energize Delaware “Pathways to Green Schools” program, and invited HEC2 to host the educational session in anticipation of their upcoming Energy Night event in April. The TAG students who attended the February 26 gathering will lead activities and perform demonstrations for the students and families that attend the April Energy Night event – an interactive, evening activity about energy conservation and available programs.
Thank you for having us, Brandywine Springs School!
