The election results are in for the 2019 Best Practices Working Group committee (BPWG). The new committee members will serve from July 1, 2019 to June 30, 2020. It was a very close race and we actually had to go to a tiebreaker vote for both the IIC and HPC results. We want to thank all who applied and put in the time to bring their ideas to the table to improve the program. Our first meeting for the new working group is scheduled for May 15th at the DESEU office in Dover. BPWG meetings will be scheduled quarterly on a go forward basis. This team of 6 representatives will serve in an advisory capacity to the DESEU and Franklin teams to work towards a sustainable, cost effective and customer-centric savings program. Ultimately, decisions will be finalized to the DESEU’s preference and we look forward to feedback and recommendations to make sure this program remains as a national leader in Home Performance with ENERGY STAR.
Below are your representatives for 2019:
IIC
- Jeff Gross - SABRS
- Ken Wood - Red Dog Heating & Plumbing
APC
- Al Boro – Energy Solutions
- Lawrence Calio - Independent Power Solutions
HPC

The Energize Delaware team will follow up with the elected members to begin discussion about programmatic operations and hot topics that affect the program. We will set a date for the new groups first meeting. We encourage all participating contractors to communicate frequently with your elected BPWG members so that they can provide a consolidated voice to the DESEU & Franklin teams for recommendations to the program. The first BPWG meeting will be on May 15, 2019. Additional information and invites will be emailed shortly.
