New Incentives Available!

 

Energize Delaware and Franklin Energy are excited to announce that new incentives are now available through our Home Performance with ENERGY STAR® Program! The goals of these new incentives are to help expand on the solutions we can offer our customers by 1) Further incentivizing whole-home ductless mini-split participation AND 2) Incentivizing whole-home dehumidification to promote the health and safety (and durability) benefits of humidity control.  

Our teams have worked closely with the Best Practices Working Group to set in place effective incentive levels to help drive these goals. We look forward to seeing the impact they have and continuing to provide support to you TAs who serve as the driving force behind this program. Please do not hesitate to reach out to the Franklin Team if there are questions on how these new incentives will apply!  

  1. We are now offering the following incentives per ENERGY STAR certified whole-home dehumidification system installed. No cap will be associated with this measure. Projects calling for multiple dehumidification incentives will be reviewed by the Franklin Team.  

 

HPwES - $400 per system  

Assisted HPwES & Downtown Development District - $600 per system  

 

  1. We are now offering the following incentives for the installation of qualifying ductless mini-split systems. Overall system efficiency requirements and incentive caps (per project) will remain the same (HPwES – $3,000 per project, AHP & DDD – $4,000 per project).   

HPwES 

Tier 1 – $400 + $300 per additional indoor unit 

Tier 2 – $600 + $450 per additional indoor unit  

 

Assisted HPwES & Downtown Development District 

Tier 1 – $900 + $650 per additional indoor unit 

Tier 2 – $1,000 + $750 per additional indoor unit 

 

Example:  

  • A Tier 2 qualifying mini-split system with (1) outdoor unit paired to (4) indoor units would qualify for a $1,950 incentive.    
  • A Tier 2 qualifying mini-split system with (4) outdoor units paired to (4) indoor units would continue to qualify for a $2,400 incentive.
